The Two-Year McNair Program Progression

McNair Scholars participate in the program during the final two years of their bachelor’s degree program at Boise State. The 20-month program progression guides Scholars through an integrated set of program activities, opportunities and seminars designed to facilitate their successful entry into postbaccalaureate programs immediately following their graduation from Boise State. The diagram below illustrates the typical progression through the program. In some cases, a fast-track progression is possible for more advanced students with research experience or research opportunities already available.
