National Science Foundation (NSF) Noyce
Scholarship
Boise State University is offering Noyce Scholarships to
undergraduates and graduate students majoring in mathematics, science or
engineering over a four-year period. The selected scholars will be
eligible for financial resources to assist with tuition, textbook
purchases, housing and other education related expenses. As students in
this program the scholars will take course work and have practicum
experiences that acquaint them with the rich diversity they will find in
the classrooms and provide opportunities to practice pedagogy
appropriate for their content area. Undergraduate students or Graduate
Certificate students majoring in mathematics, science, engineering or
technology who would consider teaching in a high need district are
encouraged to apply for the scholarship. For each year of scholarship
aid up to two years of aid for undergraduates, the recipients will teach
two years in a high need district as defined by NSF. Interested
students may fill out a
Scholarship Application.
