The doctoral program in curriculum and instruction, leading to an Ed.D.
degree, is designed to develop graduates who will be effective leaders in
educational improvement. The course work provides students with the basis
for a thorough understanding of what schools are and can be, insights into
the complexities of teaching and learning, and collaborative opportunities
to work towards making a measurable and positive effect upon current
education programs and student learning.
The Ed.D. program is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! Doctoral
studies in Curriculum & Instruction are designed to match a student’s
particular background, professional experience, and career goals, while
meeting departmental requirements.
